UPDATE: Fall Ball Registration is open!

------------------

National Families,

Registration for Fall Ball in the Farm, AAA and Majors divisions begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5 (that’s tomorrow)!

The registration link will be posted on nllalbany.org and on our league Facebook page.

Fall Ball will be played on Saturdays at National, Westland Hills and Guilderland between the weekend after Labor Day and (roughly, weather permitting) Columbus Day. Game times are TBD and may vary by division. The cost is $60 for all divisions.

Please note registration will be limited and players will be rostered on a first-come, first-served basis.  Do not delay registering to ensure you get a spot.

How it will work

The first 12 players in each division will receive a roster spot. After the first 12, each additional player will be placed on a standby list until enough players and coaches have signed up to form a second team. We will not be able to roster additional teams until coaches have been identified.

If you are willing to coach at any level, please let us know ASAP. Again, we cannot form teams until we have coaches.

Which division is the right one for your player?

Register your player for the Fall Ball division that aligns with their Little League baseball age for the spring 2024 season. This Little League baseball age chart will help you determine your child’s Little League age for next year. (Note: their Little League age is sometimes not the same as their actual age; yes, it’s confusing.)

The Little League ages for each division are as follows:

Farm: 7-8

AAA: 9-10

Majors: 11-12

For example, a player who is  8 years old now who played Farm ball during the spring and who will be Little League Age 9 next year should register to play AAA during Fall Ball.

Fall Ball is meant to be more instructional, so it’s the perfect setting to make the transition, get comfortable and learn some new skills that will help players come spring.

If you have any questions about where your child should register, or you are willing to coach, email playbaseball@nllalbany.org.

T-Ball and Rookie

We do not offer Fall Ball teams at the T-Ball and Rookie level; however, several parents have expressed an interest in something for the younger kids. If there are enough interested families and enough parents who would be willing to help organize it, National would be happy to help facilitate once the competitive divisions have been established.

See you all back on the fields soon!
